Troubleshooting and support for CLM Studio

Published:

Use the current project state and saved-operation checks to recover work and give support useful context.

Check these things first

  1. Confirm the account and workspace in the account menu.
  2. Read the inline message and note the project and revision.
  3. Finish or cancel the active local edit before starting a different workflow.
  4. For an existing request, use its displayed status check instead of submitting a duplicate.
  5. Reopen the project to distinguish a saved result from a local draft.

If a project is missing, check the workspace, search and archived/status filters. If an object cannot be edited, check locks, another active edit and whether it is code managed. If an attachment is incomplete, refresh its processing status and review partial excerpts before using them as evidence.

Recover an uncertain request

A timeout does not prove that the server rejected your request. Keep the current browser session and use the relevant control: Check saved build, Check saved export, Check acceptance, or the panel’s saved-operation check.

Use an offered exact-request retry to reconcile the retained operation. Do not clear browser storage as a first troubleshooting step: it can remove retained request information needed for recovery.

If a preview shows an earlier result, compare its candidate or saved revision identity with the current project. Save and open a matching build.

Create a useful support ticket

Open CLM Studio Support and describe:

  • The action you took and what you expected.
  • The actual message and whether reopening changed the result.
  • The project/revision and relevant diagnostic or saved-operation reference.
  • A screenshot containing only information relevant to the problem.

In the app, open Author help, then Get help with this context. Load the diagnostic identifiers and choose Copy IDs. For a failed saved build, use Copy reference when offered.

Keep passwords, API keys, patient information and unrelated private source files out of support requests. Use the existing ticket conversation for follow-up details.
